Is a refurbished iPhone reliable?
Yes. A refurbished iPhone is a used device that has been checked, cleaned and repaired where needed. At Refurbished.nu every device is checked before it is sold and you get a 24-month warranty. Should anything be wrong, our customer service will sort it out for you.
What is the difference from a new iPhone?
A refurbished iPhone works fully, but costs up to 70% less than the original new price and is more sustainable because an existing device gets a second life. The main difference is the price and the fact that the device has been used before.
What do the conditions mean?
The condition describes how the device looks, not how it works. As good as new has at most minimal micro-scratches. Lightly used has light signs of use. Visibly used has clearly visible scratches. Every device works fully and comes with the same 24-month warranty. A detailed explanation is on the conditions page.
What about the battery?
On our standard devices the battery has at least 85 percent capacity, more than enough for normal daily use. If you want certainty in the long run, you can choose the battery upgrade to 100 percent capacity. We use high-quality OEM batteries. These are not original Apple batteries. The battery upgrade comes with a 1-year warranty.
How quickly will I have my iPhone?
If you order on a business day before 4:00 PM, your iPhone is shipped the same day. In the Netherlands and Belgium your order usually reaches you the next day, except on Sundays. To Luxembourg and the other EU countries the delivery time is 1 to 3 working days. Shipping is free in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg; to other EU countries you pay €10. Within the Benelux we ship with PostNL, beyond it with DHL or UPS. Every shipment is insured and handed over against signature only.
What if the iPhone is not right for me?
By law you have 14 days to change your mind. Refurbished.nu extends this to 30 calendar days. You do not have to give a reason. You can notify us of your withdrawal via the withdrawal form on this site, by email or via WhatsApp. The return costs are at your expense. The refund follows within 7 to 10 days of receipt and inspection.
Is VAT shown on the invoice?
Our refurbished iPhones fall under the margin scheme. This means VAT is not broken out separately on the invoice. The price shown is the price you pay, nothing is added to it.
